Kirk is a founder director of Tomboy Films and over the years he has directed numerous award winning advertising campaigns. He is known for the natural humour in his commercials and for their truth and warmth.These qualities are also apparent in the films he has directed, Waking Ned, the first Nanny McPhee and Everybody’s Fine. One of his other skills is getting performances from non actors  -  from people like Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Craig Doyle and even Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. His latest film is called What To Expect When You’re Expecting and it opens in May.
